Sevierville Dog Park Planning Underway

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation recently held their first meeting to formally begin the planning and development process for a new dog park. A group of employees and a citizen, called Team Dog Park*, has been formed to assist the City and landscape architect in all phases of planning and development, including design, policies and budget.

Officially named "Sevierville's Unleashed PetSafe Dog Park," the park will be located adjacent to City Park on Park Road. The dog park was made possible in large part through a $100,000.00 (one-hundred thousand) donation from the PetSafe Corporation, via the Legacy Park Foundation.

Team Dog Park is hopeful our new dog park will open in May 2017. For additional information, please contact Director of Parks and Recreation Bob Parker at 865-868-1896 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
