Health Department Announces COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Schedules

The following information is from the Sevier County Health Department.
There will be a COVID-19 vaccination clinic this Saturday, January 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Sevier County Health Department. The currently approved groups for receiving vaccines are first responders, health care workers, long-term care facility workers, adults unable to live independently, funeral and mortuary employees, and those 75 and older. More COVID-19 vaccinations, including for people over 75, will be available starting Monday, January 4, at the Sevier County Health Department. The currently approved groups for receiving vaccines are first responders, health care workers, long-term care facility workers, adults unable to live independently, funeral and mortuary employees, and those 75 and older. The new vaccination schedule is:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9 a.m. – noon and 1 – 3 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 1 – 3 p.m.
All vaccinations use the drive-through off of Blanton Drive.
COVID-19 testing will also continue at the Sevier County Health Department. That schedule is:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. by appointment.
Tuesday and Thursday: 8 – 11 a.m. using the drive-through off Blanton Drive.
