September 4 BMA Meeting Cancelled

The Monday, September 4, 2023 meeting of the City of Sevierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA) has been cancelled in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The next regular BMA meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 18 at the Sevierville Civic Center, 130 Gary Wade Boulevard.

2023 Citizens Police Academy Registration Open

The Sevierville Police Department is proud to announce open registration for the annual Citizens Police Academy. The academy provides an opportunity for adult residents to learn about basic police work and to get acquainted with the officers protecting and serving our community.

BMA Workshop Scheduled August 21, 2023

The Sevierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA) has scheduled a workshop on Monday, August 21, 2023. The workshop will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center, 130 Gary Wade Boulevard, Sevierville, TN. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss a package liquor store ordinance and procedures, building codes, City Park renovations, road closures, and other items as needed.

Temporary Closure of Sevierville Community Center

The Sevierville Community Center will be closed all day on Friday, August 18. The closure is necessary to move electrical service to a new transformer as part of the ongoing Community Center expansion. The building will reopen at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19.

SPD Increases Impaired-Driving Enforcement

The Sevierville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) for its “Booze It and Lose It” campaign from August 16 to September 4, surrounding the Labor Day holiday. This initiative coincides with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” mobilization to increase impaired-driving enforcement nationwide.
