SPD Officers Plan Annual Shop With a Cop Event for Local Children

Sevierville Police Department SWAT and Community Resource officers have scheduled the annual Shop With a Cop event for Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Officers, with assistance from local school administrators and School Resource Officers, have selected a group of ten children to take shopping for Christmas presents, have lunch and spend time with SPD officers. These children would likely receive few, if any, Christmas presents without this program.

SPD officers are asking for donations from the public to help pay for the shopping trip on December 19. A Shop With SWAT bank account has been established at Citizens National Bank (CNB) to receive donations. Residents may donate at any CNB in Sevier County.
