Temporary Road Closure: Portion of Cate Road

The Sevierville Public Works Department will be making road improvements on Cate Road, including the installation of a new drain tile, which will necessitate the temporary closure of a portion of the road next week.

Beginning Monday, April 1, Cate Road, between Smithwood Road and Lewelling Road, will be closed to through traffic from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily. Weather and other conditions permitting, the work will be completed by 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 5.

Vehicles wanting access to Lewelling Road should detour to New Era Road will work is ongoing.
