Sevierville to Begin Accepting Open Burning Permit Requests

Because of a significant improvement in environmental conditions, the City of Sevierville will begin accepting requests for open burning permits on Tuesday, December 27, 2017. Recent rainfall has reduced the fire risk to acceptable levels for opening burning.

Sevierville residents are reminded that open burning within the City is allowed only after requesting and receiving an open burning permit from the City Fire Marshall.
