CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed Classes: Postponed
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in our area we have had to postpone CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed classes until the end of the year. At that time, resuming classes will be revisited.
We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Although we’ve had to temporarily postpone our in-person community CPR classes, the Sevierville Fire Department recognizes the need for continued community education programs. That’s why we’d like to introduce you to the American Heart Association’s CPR Anytime program.
CPR Anytime is an excellent way to learn the core skills of CPR if you are unable to attend an in-person course. CPR Anytime kits are available for purchase and contain everything you need to learn the lifesaving skills of CPR, AED awareness, and choking relief in about 20 minutes in the comfort of your own home. CPR Anytime is for anyone who wants to learn basic lifesaving resuscitation skills and does not need a course completion card to meet a job requirement.
There are two CPR Anytime kits available; Infant CPR Anytime or Adult & Child CPR Anytime ($38.50 each). Infant CPR Anytime or Adult & Child CPR Anytime
And for those not interested in the CPR Anytime program, but want to know the most basic skills of CPR, here’s a link to the American Heart Association Hands Only CPR Video: American Heart Association Hands Only CPR Video
And here’s one more video that goes over the 2 steps to Hands-Only CPR in a more “fun” approach. Hands-Only CPR
