Greenway Construction Scheduled; User Detour Planned
Sevierville Municipal Complex
Beginning June 3, 2019

Construction of Sevierville’s newest greenway is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2019. The East Sevierville/Middle Creek Greenway will span from Gary Wade Boulevard to Ford Avenue and include a pedestrian bridge over Middle Creek. The project will also add a much needed connection from the Boys and Girls Club to the Municipal Complex.

To facilitate use of the existing trail/greenway at the Municipal Complex during construction of the new section, the Public Works Department is building a trail detour. Detour signs will be erected so that trail use can continue without disruption. It is anticipated that construction of the new section will take several months.

The total project cost is estimated to be $689,631.00 with 80% paid for by TDOT and 20% paid for by the City of Sevierville.
