Sevier County Kids Got Talent

All contestants must be between the ages of 6-19 on 3/1/20

  • Vocal Performance
  • Instrumental Performance (must provide and be able to set-up/breakdown in 3 minutes or less. Bands with drum kits and amps may be permitted to pre-set equipment but must still be able to ‘plug-in’ and go within the 3-minute timeframe).
  • Comedy/Improv Performance
  • Specialty Performance
  • Dance Teams (see additional rules)
  • Individual Dancers (see additional rules)
  • Animal Acts, Gymnast or Acrobatic Acts will NOT be allowed to Audition. 

Additional Rules:

  • For safety and insurance reasons no acrobatic moves such as tumbling, somersaults, flips or aerial techniques over the height of the contestant’s head may be performed.
    • Contestants must maintain at least one point of contact with the ground when in an inverted position.
  • Instrumental Performance (must provide and be able to set-up/breakdown in 3 minutes or less. Bands with drum kits and amps may be permitted to pre-set equipment but must still be able to ‘plug-in’ and go within the 3-minute timeframe).
  • All acts should last no longer than 5 minutes from the start to finish.
    • Host facilities may reduce this time to as little as one minute during the early rounds to facilitate time constraints.
  • Vocal and dance performances must provide their own accompaniment via CD, or media player that has a standard 1/8” headphone jack.
  • Any act determined inappropriate for this competition, by the contest organizers may be deemed ineligible for judges approval to progress.
  • All contestants, by virtue of their entry into the competition, agree to abide by the rules of the host facilities and will follow the directions of the host facility staff. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the competition and/or other actions from the host facilities.
  • Contestants may only enter at one location and may not switch locations once registered.
