The Mt. Ton of Fun playground at Sevierville City Park has been temporarily closed for improvements. The planned improvements should take several weeks to complete, but the timeline is dependent upon favorable weather conditions.

Improvements include new swings and a slide, with artificial carpeted turf for continued inclusive play and safe landing zones within the new area.

A new shaded picnic structure adjacent to the playground will also be built and will become available this Spring. When the structure is completed, users will be able to reserve the area via the online reservation system and paying a minimal fee.
