Golf Course Mechanic II - Part-time
SALARY: $13.91 an hour + part-time sick and vacation accrual

SUMMARY:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to assist the Equipment Mechanic when inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical defects, perform preventative maintenance procedures such as changing oil, filters, spark plugs & mower blades, lubricate, grease, fuel, pressure-wash, wax, sharpen and grind maintenance equipment, cleans & organizes the equipment repair and maintenance area, performs repair/maintenance of the entire maintenance building.. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and the equivalent of 1 year of college or specialized vocational training in automotive repair or a closely related field. Must be able to lift heavy objects, use grinding equipment, work with cleaning compounds and perform other duties that require knowledge and application of safety procedures. Making adjustments to equipment that requires a high degree of accuracy and being able to operate golf course maintenance equipment, tractors, & trucks is required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
