There are 733 confirmed and probable cases, 9,067 negative tests, 411 recoveries, 319 active cases, 24 hospitalizations since the outbreak, and 3 deaths in Sevier County due to COVID-19. Today's Reminder: As we approach the busy 4th of July holiday weekend, we strongly urge all residents, businesses and visitors to follow CDC and State guidelines.

Governor Lee Signs Executive Orders 50, 51 and 52

Executive Order 50 extends "the State of Emergency related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to August 29, 2020. The order allows for the continued suspension of various laws and regulations and other measures within the orders to facilitate the treatment and containment of COVID-19 through regulatory flexibility, promoting social distancing and avoidance of large gatherings, and protecting vulnerable populations.”

SEVIER COUNTY COVID 19 UPDATE 06-28-20

The Tennessee Department of Health will not issue data on COVID-19 cases and tests on Sunday, June 28, due to an unplanned shutdown of the state surveillance system. Daily provision of case counts and additional data will resume once the system returns to full functionality.
