Basic Activities

Weekly activity schedules will be available by Wednesdays for the following week. Activities and field trips will include swimming, bowling, performing arts, archery, art, all types of sports, Track Recreation Area, gymnastics, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Lazerport, Golden Corral, Gatlinburg, West Town Mall, Forge Cinema, Jump Jam, Water Day, Westgate Indoor Water Park, Wonder Works, University of Tennessee Sport Facility Tour, Titanic Museum, Smokies Baseball Game, Knoxville Zoo, MagiQuest, Museum of Appalachia, Foxfire Mountain and Dollywood. Movies that the Summer Adventure Program will be attending could be rated G or PG. Field trips and activities are subject to change.

Possible Dollywood Field Trip

We hope to be able to do the Dollywood field trip again this summer. Doing this field trip depends on how many of our participants have a season pass or a single day pass. If enough children have a pass and we can limit the cost for the City to stay in our budget, we will be able to do this trip.

This trip will be scheduled for Week #5. If you are registering for Week #5, please indicate if your child has a season pass or a single day pass. There is a spot on the registration form for this purpose. Those that do not have a pass will need to pay an extra $20 for this trip.

After our registration is complete and we see how many will have a pass, we will make a decision if we are able to do this trip.

Also, if you know of anyone who has any single day passes that they would like to donate to our effort, please let us know.
