Current Status of City Facilities and Services

The City of Sevierville will keep residents informed of any changes to City services and facility schedules in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The following City services have been discontinued or are being provided at a reduced level indefinitely:
 
Fire Department response to medical calls will be limited to within the City limits;
Litter Pickup will be performed on a limited basis.
Brush and bulk waste collection will continue but citizens should expect a longer than usual wait. Residents/businesses are strongly encouraged to refrain from placing junk/bulk waste at curbside until the Sunday prior to scheduled collection.
 
The following facilities/programs are closed/discountinued indefinitely. For the safety or our residents, visitors and employees, these facilities, areas and programs have been closed/discontinued based upon current CDC guidelines and State requirements/guidelines in an attempt to slow the COVID-19 outbreak and will be reopened/restarted when safe for users and staff based upon CDC and State requirements and guidelines.
Spring Youth Baseball/Softball (SMYBA) (season postponed until August 2020;
 
City parks and greenways are open with the following restrictions: general park and greenway hours are  6 a.m.-11p.m.; all playgrounds and basketball courts remain closed; Family Aquatic Center at City Park is open with some restrictions; walking trails and tennis courts are open, social distancing of at least six feet will be enforced; picnic shelters will be open, but groups must be less than ten persons; the PetSafe Dog Park is open 8 a.m.-8 p.m., but each area (small dog and large dog) will be limited to less than ten persons and each person is limited to 45 minutes per visit; and Cemetery Park will be limited to less than ten people.
 
The Sevierville Community Center gymnasium and locker rooms remain closed and all children’s programs are suspended indefinitely. Other areas of the Community Center are open with restrictions.
 
 
The Sevierville Civic Center is open for scheduled activities only.
We will continue to provide updates on the status of City facilities and services as needed. The City maintains multiple Facebook pages and a Twitter page, which are listed at www.seviervilletn.org. Residents can also call City Hall for assistance at 865-453-5504.
