As New Year's Eve approaches, the City of Sevierville would like to remind residents and visitors that shooting fireworks without a permit is prohibited within the City limits. This ordinance is in effect throughout the year.

The downtown public parking lot and gazebo area on Bruce Street, between Court Avenue and the Parkway, will be closed from 10:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023. The closure is for the Cocoa Crawl at the Commons special event.

The City of Sevierville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to increase impaired-driving enforcement from December 15, 2023, to January 1, 2024, surrounding the holiday season. The THSO’s statewide Booze It and Lose It campaign is part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over nationwide mobilization.
