UPDATED: Annual Arbor Day Celebration Highlighted by Middle Creek Greenway Grand Opening

Due to construction delays, the grand opening of the Middle Creek Greenway has been postponed. An estimated opening date will be announced soon. The Arbor Day Celebration will occur as planned tomorrow, Friday, May 19, 11AM at Burchfiel Wayside, located at Veterans Blvd. and Middle Creek Road.

The annual City Arbor Day Celebration is scheduled for Friday, May 19. This year's event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of Middle Creek Greenway and presentation of the City's Tree City USA Award. The event will begin at 11AM at Burchfiel Wayside, located at Veterans Blvd. and Middle Creek Road.

The newly completed Middle Creek Greenway connects the Municipal Complex walking trail to Veterans Blvd. Greenway. The greenway extends approximately two miles along the Middle Creek corridor.
