The indoor pool at the Sevierville Community Center is scheduled to close from 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6 for maintenance.

The Sevierville Community Center is scheduled for interior painting that will necessitate a brief closure February 9-11, 2024.

The gymnasium will close at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, and the entire Community Center will close beginning Saturday, February 10. All areas of the Community Center are scheduled to reopen for regular hours on Monday, February 12.

The City of Sevierville has been awarded a $100,000 Tourist Enhancement Grant from the Tennessee Department of Tourism Development. The grant will be used to develop two Little Pigeon River access points as part of Sevierville's Rivers and Ridges Experience Blueway Program.

The grant check will be presented to the City at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 12 at the Sevierville Civic Center, 130 Gary Wade Boulevard. Assistant Commissioner Melanie Beauchamp, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, Representative Dale Carr, Representative Andrew Farmer, Mayor Robbie Fox, City of Sevierville, Bob Parker, Director of Parks-Recreation and Golf, and Brenda McCroskey, CEO Sevierville Chamber of Commerce, are expected to attend.

“We are delighted to receive this grant and appreciate the support of the Department of Tourist Development,” said Bob Parker, Director of Parks-Recreation and Golf. “Sevierville’s Blueway Program will provide yet another exciting recreational opportunity for our residents and the millions of tourists who visit our area every year.”

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation announces that the City Park Tennis/Pickleball Court lights will be turned-off for the winter season starting on January 1, 2024.

2024 Co-Ed Volleyball League Registration Open

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration and entry fees for the 2024 Co-Ed Volleyball League. The $150.00 team entry fee is due by January 11, 2024. Registration packets are available at the Community Center front desk or online at seviervilletn.org on the athletics page. Registration can also be completed online by visiting CLICK HERE and selecting Programs.

League matches will be played on Monday and Thursday evenings beginning January 18. An organizational meeting, open to teams and anyone interested in playing, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on January 11 at the Sevierville Civic Center.

The league is open to persons who are 16 years of age or older. Anyone under 18 years old must have permission to play from their parent or guardian.

Beginning December 7, practice time will be available at the Community Center on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., until the season begins.
