Large Dog Area at Dog Park Closed for Maintenance

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation has closed the large dog area located within the PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park at City Park. The closure is necessary for maintenance and repairs due to use since the park opened in May 2017.

The closure is expected to last two-three months, so the Parks and Recreation Department is asking for patience and understanding during this period.

“We are thankful and encouraged that the park has had so much use,” said Parks and Recreation Director Bob Parker. “And along with the extensive use comes the need to maintain the grounds.”
