Where: Clingmans Dome to Newfound Gap via the Appalachian Trail

The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a hike from Clingmans Dome to Newfound Gap via the Appalachian Trail on Wednesday, July 27. This guided hike is FREE and limited to ten participants. Participants must be at least 18-years old and provide their own transportation to the meeting location, which will be provided upon registration.

This is a rolling, moderate 8.2-mile hike in a conifer forest, from an elevation of 6643’ to 5049’.

Registration is available online at https://recreation.seviervilletn.org. The registration deadline is July 25. After registration is full, a waiting list will be started. Liability release and medical forms must be completed online when registering and turned in at the front desk by July 25.
