Lifeguard Certification Course Scheduled

 

What: Lifeguard Certification Course Scheduled
Where: Sevierville Community Center
When: Beginning April 10, 2021

The City of Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a lifeguard certification course at the Sevierville Community Center on the following dates and times. Registration will begin on March 29.

• April 10: 12:00 p.m. (Pre-Course Water Skills Test)
• April 17, 18, 24, 25: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Participants must attend all classes, be at least 15 years old, place in the top-8 of the pre-course water skills test and register before attending classes.

The course fee is $120.00 and is due after the water skills test. Participants that successfully complete the course and are hired by the Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department as a lifeguard for 20 hours/week will get the class for free!

   NEW Co-Ed Kickball League Registration is Open

What: NEW Co-Ed Kickball League Registration is Open
Where: At the Sevierville Community Center or Online
When: Ongoing Until April 22, 2021

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for a NEW Co-Ed Kickball League. Registration materials are available at the Sevierville Community Center front desk or online at seviervilletn.org on the Parks and Recreation athletics page. The registration deadline is April 22.

Registration is available for full teams but not individuals. Individuals can be placed on a free agent list for teams that may be looking for players. The fee is $225.00/team. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning April 27. Registration available online, CLICK HERE

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for the 2021 Spring Adult Co-Ed Softball League. (NOTE: there will not be a men’s softball league this year). Registration materials are available at the Sevierville Community Center front desk or online at seviervilletn.org on the Parks and Recreation athletics page. The registration deadline is April 22.

Pickleball at City Park

When: Tuesday from 8:30AM— 10:30AM
Dates: Ongoing every Tuesday
Where: Sevierville City Park Tennis Courts (inclement weather days will be inside at the Sevierville Community Center)
Who: Open to anyone 18+
Cost: $0 per person

Tennis and Pickelball Court Lights at City Park Will Be Turned-On

What: Tennis and Pickelball Court Lights at City Park Will Be Turned-On
Where: Sevierville City Park, Park Road
When: Monday, March 1, 2021

The tennis and pickelball court lights at Sevierville City Park will be turned-on for the spring season on Monday, March 1. The lights will come on at dusk and go off at 10:00 p.m. each night.

The lights were repaired during the off season and are now fully operational. For additional information, please call 865-453-5441.
