Over the past several weeks, leaders from Sevier County and the cities of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Pittman Center, along with health experts and emergency responders, have been meeting frequently and communicating daily on responding to the COVID-19 outbreak.
In a move to reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus, the City of Sevierville is closing the Sevierville Civic Center indefinitely, effective Friday, March 20. The Sevierville Community Center remains closed indefinitely, as does Mulligan’s Restaurant at the Sevierville Golf Club. All other City services remain in operation at this time. After consulting with Pigeon Forge Officials yesterday and receiving input from Smoky Mountain Youth Baseball Association Board Members, practices and games at Sevierville City Park and Wear Farm City Park have been suspended indefinitely.
