The City of Sevierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA) has scheduled a workshop on Monday, May 5, 2025. The workshop will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center, 130 Gary Wade Boulevard, Sevierville, TN. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the FY 2026 Budget, and other items as needed.

Due to local elections, the Thursday, May 1, 2025, meetings of the City of Sevierville Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals have been rescheduled to Thursday, May 8, 2025. The meetings will be held at 5:00 p.m. in the Sevierville Civic Center. Further information on this meeting can be obtained by calling Sevierville City Hall at 865-453-5504 during regular office hours, Monday through Friday.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. yesterday, April 23, 2025, Sevierville Police Department officers responded to Hilltop Child Development Center, 1217 Fox Meadows Boulevard in Sevierville, Tennessee in reference to a man reportedly brandishing a firearm in the parking lot and possibly carjacking a vehicle at gunpoint. When SPD officers arrived, they located the suspect in a Jeep parked near the front doors of the child development center. After a brief standoff, he was taken into custody.

In an effort to improve the driving abilities and overall safety of younger drivers, the Sevierville Police Department (SPD) has scheduled a FREE Collision Avoidance Training (CAT) class on Sunday, May 25, from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Students will meet at the Sevierville Police Department and then continue the class at the Sevierville Convention Center.

The City of Sevierville will host their 2025 Arbor Day celebration on Thursday, April 24. The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. in front of the new Children’s Center, which is located behind the Community Center, 200 Gary Wade Boulevard. Parking is available at the Sevierville Police Department; follow the sidewalk between the Police Department and Community Center to the celebration.

The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a hike to Ramsey Cascades on Tuesday, April 29. This STRENUOUS hike features Spring wildflowers, creek and waterfall views, and 2,200 feet of elevation gain.

The annual Sevierville Police Department Kids Police Camp has been scheduled for Monday, June 2 - Friday, June 6. The camp will take place daily from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. A mandatory parent/participant orientation will be held at the Sevierville Police Department at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30.
