SPD Participates in THSO Best-Looking Cruiser Event

The Sevierville Police Department has entered the 2022 Tennessee Highway Safety Office “Tennessee’s Best-Looking Cruiser” event.

Seventy-two Tennessee law enforcement agencies are participating in a bid to win the contest. Voting is open to the public and ends at 5:00 p.m. eastern time on August 3, 2022. To cast your vote, visit https://tntrafficsafety.org/cruiser-voting-2022.

The SPD entry is a black and white 2022 Ford Explorer Police Edition, the primary patrol vehicle for the agency. The classic black and white color scheme has been a mainstay of the department for over thirty years.

“We encourage our residents to take a moment to vote for our entry in the contest,” said SPD Deputy Chief Sam Hinson. “We take pride in the appearance of our vehicles and feel they portray a positive image for our community.”
