TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Road Closures Downtown for Traffic Signal Improvements

The City of Sevierville is issuing a traffic advisory for the Parkway and Bruce Street area overnight, January 30-31, 2023. Contractors will be installing a new traffic signal mast arm that will necessitate the temporary closure of the Parkway/Bruce Street intersection.

To facilitate traffic, the following barricades will be in place while work is ongoing. All traffic will be required to detour at these barricades onto an alternate route. The barricades will be in place beginning at 9:00 p.m. Monday evening, January 30. Weather and other conditions permitting, the barricades will be removed and the intersection will be reopened to traffic by 5:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, January 31.

• Northbound Parkway at Joy Street. Northbound Parkway traffic alternate routes include Joy Street, Court Avenue and Main Street.
• Southbound Parkway at Main Street. Southbound Parkway alternate routes include Main Street, Forks of the River Parkway, Court Avenue and Joy Street.
• Westbound Bruce Street at Broady Lane. Westbound Bruce Street alternate routes include Broady Lane, Cedar Street and Main Street.
• Eastbound Bruce Street at the Municipal Parking Lot entrance. Eastbound Bruce Street alternate routes include Court Avenue, Joy Street, and Main Street.
