TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary closure of turn lane on West Main Street

A traffic advisory is being issued for the temporary closure of the right turn only lane on westbound West Main Street, between Court Avenue and Highway 66/Forks of the River Parkway.

The closure will take place from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22. Motorists may still turn right (north) onto Highway 66 from West Main Street by using the right westbound travel lane while this closure is in place. Motorists should expect short delays while work is in progress, and watch for changing traffic patterns, workers and equipment. The closure is necessary to allow for fire hydrant repair.
