TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Repairs and repaving planned on Love Road beginning August 14

A traffic advisory is being issued for Love Road repair and repaving work beginning Thursday, August 14.

On Thursday, August 14-Friday, August 15, traffic will be maintained as workers make repairs to the road.

On Monday, August 18, the road will be closed to all traffic near the intersection with Old Knoxville Highway from 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., to allow replacement of a large storm drain.

Crews will begin repaving Love Road on Monday, August 18. Weather and other conditions permitting, repaving will be completed by 5:00 pm. Friday, August 22.

Motorists should expect short term delays while work is in progress, and stay alert for changing traffic patterns, workers, and equipment in the area.
