TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Planned road maintenance will require several street closures September 18-24

A traffic advisory that includes street closures is being issued for several City streets between September 18-24. Please see the attached maps for specific street closure schedules. These road maintenance projects are weather dependent; should weather conditions be unfavorable, the projects will be rescheduled.

September 18 and September 19, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.:
• Lexington Place closed from intersection with Broadview Drive eastward;
• Runyon Lane/Westland Drive closed between Hardin Lane and Broadview Drive;
• Floyd Lane closed;
• Beal Court closed.

September 20 and September 22, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.:
• Broadview Drive “loop section” between Westland Drive and Broadview Drive;
• Broadview Drive southbound lane between “loop section” and Lexington Place. Traffic in both directions will be maintained.
• Lexington Place closed from intersection with Broadview Drive westward;
• Heatley Lane southbound lane between Catlett Road and just north of Floyd Lane. Traffic in both directions will be maintained.

September 23 and September 24, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.:
• Broadview Drive between Hardin Lane and Lexington Place. Traffic will be maintained from Lexington Place to the Broadview Drive “loop section;”
• Westland Drive between Broadview Drive and Broadview Drive “loop section.”
• Heatley Lane northbound lane between Catlett Road and just north of Floyd Lane. Traffic in both directions will be maintained.

Contractor Holbrook Asphalt will be performing pavement preservation work that will necessitate complete closure of each affected street for a 12-hour period. The contractor will distribute flyers to affected residents, explaining the preservation process and noting specific street closure schedules.
