TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Downtown street closures for special event September 23

A traffic advisory is being issued for portions of Bruce Street and Court Avenue next week. On Tuesday, September 23, from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., the following streets will be closed to all traffic:

• Court Avenue from just north of Joy Street (near entrance to SCSO parking lot) to just south of the public parking lot near Main Street (the public parking lot will be open for use);
• West Bruce Street from just east of the Sevier County Courthouse parking lot entrance to Court Avenue (the parking lot will be open for use);
• Bruce Street from Court Avenue to the Municipal Parking Lot exit (the Municipal Parking Lot will be open for use, access from Parkway).

The street closures are necessary to accommodate the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office “Sheriff’s Shindig” special event.
