A traffic advisory is being issued for Old Knoxville Highway from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25. During this period, Old Knoxville Highway will be reduced to one lane of travel in the area of East Loop Road and West Loop Road.

Sevierville Police Department officers arrested two persons on animal cruelty charges on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. After receiving a complaint, officers went to the East Casey Drive residence and discovered numerous canines inside a mobile home in abhorrent conditions.

Catlett Road will be closed to all traffic north of Live Oak Lane from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. The closure is necessary to allow installation of a new water line. No traffic will be permitted through the closure. The attached map shows the closure location and detour routes to allow residents and motorists to navigate around the closure.

Registration for the City of Sevierville Parks and Recreation fall adult co-ed softball league will begin on Monday, July 17.

Due to a delay in Community Center renovation, the Community Center and Bowling Center will be open on an abbreviated schedule for Thursday, July 13 and Friday, July 14. On July 13 and 14, the Community Center will be open 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and the Bowling Center will be open 11:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. The building was originally scheduled to be closed July 13 and 14 for a power transfer, however this project will be rescheduled to a later date. The Sevierville Police Department has scheduled a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) class for women on Friday, August 11 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, August 12 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Sevierville Police Department, 300 Gary Wade Boulevard.
