A lane closure may be necessary during the daytime tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17, on the Parkway near the intersection with Bruce Street. The southbound travel lane may be closed in this area to allow contractor work. Traffic will be maintained, however some short-term delays may occur.
The Sevierville Police Department has been given 100 PPE masks and suits after placing second in the “Pay It Forward” national contest. A traffic advisory is being issued for the Parkway between East Main Street and Apple Valley Road from Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 5, 2020, as work continues. During this period, the northbound and southbound right travel lanes may be closed from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. each day to allow curb and signal work. Motorists should exercise caution in this area and be alert for slowed, stopped and merging traffic. Short term delays are possible during heavy traffic periods.
