The Sevierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA) has scheduled a workshop on Monday, May 6, 2024. The workshop will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center, 130 Gary Wade Boulevard, Sevierville, TN. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the FY 2025 Budget, and other items as needed.

The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a hike to Brushy Mountain via the Trillium Gap Trail on Wednesday, May 8 (rain date is May 15). This guided hike is FREE and limited to ten participants. Participants must be at least 18-years old and provide their own transportation to a meeting place to be determined.

A traffic advisory is being issued for the temporary closure of East Ridge Road. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, East Ridge Road will be closed to thru traffic (access to homes will be permitted) between Veterans Boulevard and Ridge Road. Weather and other conditions permitting, the road will be reopened to traffic by Friday evening, May 3.

A traffic advisory is being issued for the temporary closure of a section of Court Avenue on Saturday, April 27. Court Avenue, between Bruce Street and Main Street, will be closed to all traffic from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The closures are necessary to facilitate the Sevier County Heritage Day special event.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY UPDATE: The new anticipated completion date for this project is tomorrow, Thursday, April 25 by 5:00 p.m.
Creek Avenue, located between Main Street and Bruce Street, will be closed to thru traffic beginning at 8:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2024. Weather and other conditions permitting, the road is expected to be reopened by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024. The closure is necessary to complete storm drain maintenance.

The annual City of Sevierville Arbor Day and Tree City USA celebrations are scheduled for Thursday, April 25. The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the John Sevier Grove (behind the Sevierville Civic Center, 200 Gary Wade Boulevard).

The Sevierville Fire Department is offering several CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed classes in 2024 at the Headquarters, Station 1, 1162 Dolly Parton Parkway. In these classroom-based courses, participants will learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and how they can control severe bleeding to possibly save themselves and others.
