The following schedules will be in effect for City of Sevierville facilities and services during the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays:
A section of Court Avenue in front of the Sevier County Courthouse will be temporarily closed on Friday, November 10 to facilitate a Veterans Day event being conducted by Sevier County Veterans Services. Court Avenue, between Commerce Street and Bruce Street, will be closed to all traffic from approximately 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year old Jennifer Paige Blanchard Tuesday evening, October 31, 2023 in Seymour, TN. Blanchard has been charged with statutory rape by an authority figure following an investigation by the Sevierville Police Department.
A temporary lane closure on portions of the Parkway and Collier Drive will take place on Saturday, November 4 to facilitate a 5k road race special event.
A traffic advisory is being issued for several milling and paving projects scheduled to begin Sunday evening, November 5, 2023. Work on all projects will take place from 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Weather and other conditions permitting, the projects are expected to be complete on Friday, November 10, 2023.
A traffic advisory is being issued for sidewalk improvement work on the West Prong Little Pigeon River bridge on the Parkway. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 6. Weather and other conditions permitting, the project is expected to be completed in three weeks. The work will take place from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. daily.
Sevierville Police Department Captain Ray Brown graduated from the Southeastern Leadership Academy (SELA) on Friday, October 27 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
